Comparative Analysis of Different Photovoltaic Simulation Software: Case Study on Analyzing the Performance of a 5,1 kWp Grid Connected Photovoltaic System

The high installation costs of photovoltaic (PV) systems are the most important obstacle in spread systems; that’s why various studies carried out on optimization PV today. Thus, can be optimized terms criteria such as inclination angle, module number, type, construction structure, and inverter. Different user-friendly software is used to design systems. Such estimates energy production using climate data provides economic accordingly. However, reliability these varies productivity depends climatic conditions. In this paper, it aimed evaluate effectiveness PV*SOL, PVsyst, RETScreen, PVGIS software, widely solar sector, under conditions Kocaeli province. A 5,1kWp roof-top system installed University Technology Faculty building simulated with programs reveal which more successful predicting real data. According comparison, PV*SOL PVsyst evaluated reliable since yields obtained closest values.
